Cheese Tasting Collaboration with Wood Hat Spirits

Calling all whiskey lovers! Join us in welcoming Gary Hinegardner, the mastermind behind Wood Hat Spirits, for a whiskey and cheese tasting class at the Creamery! We got to know Wood Hat Spirits through the PBS program, tasteMAKERS that premiered its first season this fall. Wood Hat was featured in the pilot episode – you can find us in episode 8! It was a no-brainer to team up with them for a class this Fall.
Wood Hat Spirits was the first craft distillery in Montgomery County, MO and the only one in the country to use a wood-fired still. They are also certified by the American Distilling Institute as a TRUE craft distillery – fermenting, distilling and aging is all done on site. They take pride in using local grains and fruit in their spirits, making them one of a kind.
Delight in four of our cheeses paired with four of their award-winning whiskeys and cordials. Note– This class is held at our cafe in Weston, Green Dirt Farm Creamery, where we can keep you warm and comfy this time of year! Feel free to shop around the creamery after the class!
**If you can’t make it to the class Friday night, join us at the Creamery on Saturday, the 16th. Wood Hat will be sampling and selling their spirits in the shop!**
